Not to be missed
The works of New York guru, spiritual leader Adi Da Samraj, presented by Achille Bonito Oliva at Palazzo Bollani. At San Lazzaro degli Armeni, works by Joseph Kosuth. At Cini, the Prada Foundation presents Thomas Demand, photographer and set designer, with his spectacular cardboard cave (weighing 36 tons). Great Venetian and painter both, Emilio Vedova (see photo above), whom the city is honoring posthumously with a retrospective (which features the previously unseen Carnevali 1977/1983), on the island of S. Erasmo. Vedova is also present, along with Georg Baselitz, at the Biennale Venice Pavilion. Unmatched in the use of ceramic, Bertozzi & Casoni are the Della Robbia of contemporary art, as is also shown in the exhibition at Ca' Pesaro centered on the lies of art (pictured above, their Pinocchio). And furthermore, Jan Fabre at Palazzo Benzon, Enzo Cucchi at the Correr Museum and Artempo at Palazzo Fortuny.
